BBC News features our campaign

Our campaign caught the attention of the BBC who dispatched senior reporter Nick Robinson to Knebworth to meet our chair, Jules Pomerance. Please have a look at the video below.

Media coverage, and a big thank you.

Our campaign is on the front of the Guardian education supplement today!

On Thursday 4th March we will be on BBC1 news, nationwide, at 6 and 10 o’clock. (Possibly repeated on BBC News 24 on Freeview and Satellite)

We have worked so hard the past year and covered such ground.

We could never have got this here without such a committed team, and all the extra help from our villages’ residents, with individuals and companies volunteering their precious time, skills and showing their passion and dedication to both our cause and our community.

I am truly grateful, and thank each and every one of you.

All the best,
Yours, Jules

petition now live!

Hi everyone- our new petition has gone live thanks to Gary’s dedication.

Please sign and forward to everyone you know- you don’t have to live in the villages to feel we should have a local environmentally conscious choice of secondary school.

It is our chance to show public feeling and how important this school and recreation area is to you. It will benefit everybody in the surrounding villages, as we create a community area with woods and leisure facilities to enhance our quality of life, whilst saving thousands of car journeys, as our children exercise while walking or cycling safely to their local school. Please show your support for our community.

Thank you Jules

listen over your morning coffee….

Well this campaign is like a rolling stone gathering moss!
After our very exciting meeting today, I came home to find the local radio (hertbeat fm) were chasing me for an update… I managed to get down there and we taped a quick interview for breakfast news tomorrow!
Each day something exciting to do with our school is happening!
