The campaign is flowing forward beautifully, so are having we an open evening on September 7th, 8-10pm, at Woolmer Village Hall, so you can come and meet us, and ask any questions you may have.
I am then going to be doing a nerve racking but short presentation at Knebworth Village Hall to the community, so the Knebworth Parish can gage support- that will be somewhere between 8 and 10 pm, on the 9th September, (according to the agenda, as they are also going to be discussing other development issues).
The more people there to hear the presentation the better- you can learn about the campaign, and show your support.
Please come, join us, and play a positive part in the future of our villages, facilities and education.
It is amazing how many people have come forwards to support us and help- everything is appreciated- from giving out leaflets to your neighbours- to designing a flyer, many thanks to you all.

why can’t i see anywhere on this website the additional housing estate required to fund the new school.

It would be very useful if you could post the financial data that you presented at the planning discussion meeting at Knebworth Village Hall last night (9th Sept). I was concerned that Stephen Pollock Hill, an experienced property developer, felt that your costings for total build costs were wildly optimistic (I believe that he estimated around two hundred thousand pounds per dwelling, compared to your figure of one hundred). Having a sound financial case is surely an absolute priority.
Thanks for your comment, Steve. We will be reviewing our financial data and will make that available via the website in due course. It was useful to get Stephen’s insight at the meeting last night and saw it as a positive contribution. I am not sure if utilities were included in the estimate costs we were originally given. We will heed his advise and speak with further people in the industry to help produce a more detailed financial plan ensuring Stephen’s points are addressed.
